What Denver callers ask about this

Can a car locksmith make a key without the original?

On most cars. The blade is cut from the key code linked to your VIN, or by decoding the door lock, and then the chip gets programmed at the car. Keep the registration and your ID close.

Can a locksmith fix an ignition?

Frequently. A worn or forced ignition cylinder can usually be rebuilt or swapped where the car sits. Electronic faults may need a mechanic or the dealer.
